Informational website kurjeris.lt is a constituent part of the Taurages Kurjeris newspaper, which is the newspaper of Taurage region with a highest number of readers. The website publishes information related to topicalities of Taurage town and Taurage region. The website kurjeris.lt and the paper Taurages Kurjeris are two complementary sources of information with a common target to reach as wide range of readers as possible. Our goal is to make the information about the native land also available for citizens that are far from their home since a large part of our readers lives in Ireland, England, USA and other foreign countries.

The webpage kurjeris.lt expressly provides information on events, political topicalities, region‘s news, it announces the next issue of Taurages Kurjeris newspaper, here one can also find photos of different events and life of townspeople. In order to make it more convenient for different media agencies, press publications and readers, we have established a photo archive at foto.kurjeris.lt. There is also a possibility to take part in different contests at konkursai.kurjeris.lt.

Newspaper Taurages Kurjeris

The first issue of Taurages Kurjeris was published 26 September 1997. The newspaper is published on Tuesdays and Fridays with a run of 5700 copies.

On Tuesdays we offer You the newspaper with sections Verslo Aleja (Bussiness Avenue), Autorinka (Automarket), a snappy and unpredictable youth supplement Laisvas Plotas (Home Alone) and the free supplement Healthy Family fancied by our readers.
